Zero Data Retention
Your automation runs on AI systems we do not build ourselves. This page explains what 'zero data retention' means for those systems, what we can promise today, and what is still being confirmed.

What 'zero data retention' means
When an AI subprocessor operates on a zero data retention basis, the specific request we send it — a customer message, a document, a piece of text — is used only to generate a response and is not kept afterwards. It is not stored for later review, and it is not folded into the logs that provider keeps for its own operational purposes.
This is separate from how OtomoAI itself stores your data. Our own storage and retention practices are covered in our Privacy Policy.
Who decides what happens to your data
You decide what your automation collects and why. We build and operate the automation on your instructions, and the data it touches — your customers' messages, documents and records — stays yours. We process it only to run the automation you asked us to build, for no other purpose.
In data protection terms, this makes you the controller of that data: you decide the purpose and the means of processing. OtomoAI acts as your processor, handling it on your instructions.
Requesting deletion or export
You can ask us to delete or export the data held for your account at any time. Email enquiry@otomoai.com.my and we will act on your instructions.
